In order to process Credit Card transactions with StudyPlace, you will need an Authorize.NET account with CIM API feature.


To begin the Online Payment Services Application, click on the following URL:

https://ems.authorize.net/oap/home.aspx?SalesRepID=98&ResellerID=12034
Click Create Login ID which will then take you to the "Create Login ID" page. Please complete and fill in the required information. When asked if you want to include CIM API for an additional charge, please accept.


Once you have created an account with Authorize.NET (with CIM), you will be able to create an API Login ID and Transaction Key that is required by StudyPlace. Please follow these steps:

1. Login into your account
   
2. Click on Account
   
3. Click on Settings
   
4. Click on API Login ID and Transaction Key
5. Create a new API Login ID with a Password
   

1. Login into StudyPlace as a SuperAdmin
   
2. Click on Setup
   
3. Click on Ecom
   
4. Click on Add and select type Authorize.NET
   
5. Enter the API Login ID as your Username
   
6. Enter the Transaction Key as your Password
   
7. Click Update
   
8. Click "Edit Details"
   
9. Check the boxes for the cards you will be accepting
   
10. Click Update
    
11. Click "Toggle Enable"
    

1. Login into StudyPlace as a SuperAdmin
   
2. Click on Setup
   
3. Click on Account Preferences
   
4. Click on the Ecommerce Tab
   
5. Check Enable
   
6. Check the boxes to indicate whether you will accept payments for Tuition and/or Donations
   
7. Click Update
   

1. Create a test family account in StudyPlace and log into the family interface
   
   
   Do not use this test family account to enroll in classes on the production server.
   
   
2. Go to Billing
   
3. Click the "Payments" button
   
4. On the bottom left click the "Add Credit Card" button
   
5. Enter the credit card information
   
6. Click "Submit or Update Card" button to see it added to the left side of the window
   
7. Select the card you just added and then click "Make A Payment" button
   
8. Click the down arrow in the Credit Card field and select the card you just put in
   
9. Enter $1 in the Tuition field
   
10. Enter $0 in the Donation field
    
11. Click "Make Credit Card Payment" button to see the payment appear on the right
    
12. Logout of StudyPlace family interface
    

1. Log into your Authorize.net account to verify that the transaction occurred and take note of the confirmation number
   
2. Then log into the admin interface
   
3. Go to Operations and then Families
   
4. Select the test family and click "Payments" button
   
5. Look for the credit card transaction and make sure the confirmation number matches what you found in Authorize.net
   
6. Log out of Authorize.net
   
   
   Note:You should receive an email from Authorize.net by the end of the day reporting to you that you have $1 in your account.

1. Log into the StudyPlace admin interface
   
2. Go to Operations and then Families
   
3. Select your family and click "Payments" button
   
4. Select the credit card payment in the bottom of the window and click the "Refund" button
   
5. Enter the amount $1 and then click "Ok" button
   
6. This will show the Refunded transaction in the window with a confirmation number
   
7. Logout
   

1. Log into your Authorize.net account to verify that the refund transaction occurred and verify that the confirmation number matches what you saw in StudyPlace
